9.50 euros Sauna Ticket, adults
7 euros Sauna Ticket, children younger than 12
45 euros Multi-ticket (6 visits)
Payment only by card. Tickets are purchased on the raft. Multi-tickets are personal, and multi-tickets purchased in previous summers are valid. You can also purchase Sauna Tickets and multi-tickets for a gift. The visually impaired can bring an escort to the sauna free of charge.

We take the last customers on the raft half an hour before closing. Kesän Sauna may be closed due to weather conditions or a lack of volunteers. Check the queue camera, if there is a queue for the sauna.
OULU2026 SAUNA PRIVATE SHIFTS
Don’t have time to wait in line for Kesän Sauna, but would still like to enjoy a high-quality wood-burning sauna and the freshness of the river water? Would you like to have your own private sauna with your group in a pre-heated sauna and just take it easy? Now you can buy a private shift (1.5 hours / 150€ incl. VAT) in the Oulu2026 Sauna built and maintained by the Oulu Sauna Association. The sauna can fit eleven sauna-goers at a time, and its wood-burning stove provides great löyly. The sauna is located on the Tuira beach, so you can take a dip in the Oulujoki river and swim in between baths. You need a swimsuit and your own towel, you can buy Villivesi soft drinks at the Kesän Sauna next door. The heating of the sauna is handled during the shift by the Sauna Association volunteers, you only need to arrive there.
The sauna is in use until June 23rd, so act fast!

LÖYLYKONTTI AND PRIVATE SHIFTS
The Oulu Sauna Association opened a Löylykontti sauna at the Tuira beach in the spring of 2026.
From Löylykontti’s website, you can book either a single seat in the sauna or an entire shift.

MORNING SAUNAS
We aim to organize morning saunas regularly in the summer of 2026. Times will be updated later, follow our social media channels for more info.
SILENT SAUNA
In 2026 on Wednesdays there is Silent sauna from the afternoon throughout the shift. In the Silent sauna, we cherish sauna peace: we are silent in the sauna room and talk quietly outside the sauna. No jumping into the water.
OTHER EVENTS
Oulu Sauna Festival 5.–9.6.2026
The Oulu Sauna Association organizes a new five-day sauna culture showcase event, the Oulu Sauna Festival, at the beginning of the summer of Oulu’s European Capital of Culture year. The main venue is Tuira beach. The festival’s sauna seminar will be held on Saturday, June 6th at the Oulu Central Library Saari.
The sauna festival is aimed at people of all ages, both sauna enthusiasts and first-time sauna tourists. At the Oulu Sauna Festival, you can enjoy the variety of saunas, take a dip in the Oulujoki river and experience both new and traditional sauna experiences.

Good to know
- Swimwear is compulsory. Remember to bring your own towel as well!
- There are separate changing rooms for men and women. You can leave your personal items in the lockers at your own risk.
- Payment only by card.
- Multi-tickets are personal.
- Multi-tickets purchased in previous summers are still valid.
- No drinks in the sauna. You can drink beverages on the deck.
- It is forbidden to use any kind of soap on the raft. There is a warm shower that uses the water from the river. It is also possible to swim in the river at your own risk.
- Smoking is forbidden.
- Don’t leave any trash on the raft. You may leave returnable bottles.
- Maximum duration of one visit is 2 hours so that as many as possible can enjoy our lovely sauna.

SAUNA ETIQUETTE (piilossa, kesken enkuksi)
Yhteissauna
Kesän Sauna on yhteissauna, eli saunassa tulee olla uimapuku. Alle 18-vuotiaat pääsevät lautalle aikuisen seurassa.
Pukutilat
Lautalla on pukutilat erikseen miehille ja naisille. Pukutilassa on omille tavaroille vaatekorit, jotka lukitaan lautalta saatavalla lukolla. Saat lukon saunamaksun yhteydessä. Huom! Emme vastaa arvoesineistä, eli koreihin jätetään arvoesineet omalla vastuulla.
Peseytyminen
Lautalla ei saa käyttää pesuaineita. Peseytymiseen on lämminvesisuihku, johon vesi tulee joesta.
Emme valvo vesialueita. Uiminen aina omalla vastuulla. Veteen mennään vain joen puolelta portailta.
Juomat
Juomia ei saa viedä löylyhuoneeseen. Myymme lähde- ja kivennäisvettä, ja voit myös tuoda omia virvoitusjuomia. Lautalla ei saa olla päihtyneenä.
Roskat
Roskat on vietävä mennessään rantaan tai laitettava lautalla olevaan roskakoriin. Palautuspullot voi jättää palautuspulloille tarkoitettuun paikkaan lautalla. Tupakointi on lautalla kielletty.
Kesto
Sauna-aika on kaksi tuntia, jotta mahdollisimman moni pääsee nauttimaan saunamme lempeistä löylyistä. Ruuhka-aikoina varaudu jonotukseen. Lautalta on poistuttava sulkeutumisaikaan mennessä.
